We are increasingly hearing more about meditation and its numerous benefits to physical, emotional and mental well-being, but what exactly is it and how do we do it? Explore different meditation techniques, find what works for you, and learn how you can fit a regular meditation practice into your busy lifestyle. Whether you are new to meditation or have been practicing for years, these sessions will serve to minimize stress levels, release body tightness, rest your mind, and strengthen your ability to navigate through life’s ups and downs.

Group and Private Jikiden Reiki

Release discomfort, promote restful sleep, and ease physical and emotional tension through the benefit of Reiki.

Jikiden Reiki is a Japanese technique that promotes physical and emotional healing on all levels. It is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If your life force energy is low, you are more likely to get sick or feel stress. If your life force energy is balanced or high, you are more capable of being happy and healthy.

In a Jikiden Reiki session, you relax, seated or lying down and fully clothed, while our Reiki practitioner holds her hands above you or lightly touches you around different areas of the body. Energy flows wherever needed and some feel the energy as a warm or tingling sensation. Benefits can include improved sleep patterns, release of stress and toxins in the body, soothing of physical and/or emotional pain, and more. Receiving a Jikiden Reiki treatment is a very relaxing and soothing experience which will leave you feeling refreshed and balanced.

Natural, pure, therapeutic-grade oils are the most versatile and are biologically activating. They can transmit their benefits at a cellular level, bypassing the thinking mind.

In these sessions, we work with natural, pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils through inhalation and/or mild application to the skin through gentle touch to specific points on the spine, feet, and/or ears.
