As we age, insulin and cortisol rise, our muscle mass decreases and it becomes more difficult to lose weight. Fat accumulates around our mid section and this fat is the most difficult to lose. While all diets will enable you to lose weight, some leave you metabolically worse making it easier to regain the weight, leaving you nutritionally depleted. Some cause inflammation, which is a contributing factor to accelerated aging and inflammatory diseases ranging from Alzheimer’s, autoimmune disease, cancer, heart disease and more.
Weight loss requires commitment, structure and accountability and it must fit your lifestyle. We are offering programs that are effective and safe with the flexibility to fit with your lifestyle and preferences. After researching diets for years, we have chosen diets that have proven effectiveness that are low glycemic and anti-inflammatory leaving you metabolically better off.
They range from most dramatic and restrictive to moderate and more liberal. For those of you who eat on the run or don’t want to cook, there are diets that have meal replacements. While the preference is always to do things slowly and naturally and addressing all lifestyle issues, sometimes you need a jump-start and a more aggressive low calorie diet may be right for you. So, you may choose the program that fits your lifestyle.
Choosing to work with a medical doctor well versed in anti-aging and regenerative medicine is the most beneficial way to assure quality, success and help managing any medical issues that may arise. If you need to lose more than 100 pounds, it is best to go to a physician who specializes in bariatric medicine.
There is no insurance reimbursement for weight loss programs.
The cost of the programs varies by time, length and type of program and does not include lab tests, supplements, or food. Program ends on last visit and if extension is needed, ongoing visits are at an additional cost.

A therapeutic lifestyle means living your life in a way that improves your health. It means making choices every day that will enhance your health enabling you to achieve a full, healthy life.
There is a lot of information about what is healthy and unhealthy and even the advice from professionals often seems to change from day to day. The First Line Therapy program will provide you with the knowledge you need to make healthy lifestyle choices each day going forward.
The First Line Therapy program will put you on a path to optimal health and ideal body composition through a combination of balanced eating, regular exercise, reduction of stress and using the correct supplements. The end result is a program that not only helps control aging, but also helps to prevent chronic disease and prolong vitality.
Fundamentals of the Lifestyle - First Line Therapy Program

- Balanced Eating – Balanced eating habits have a direct influence on excess insulin production, body composition and disease prevention.
- Regular activity/exercise – A regular program of aerobic, strength training and flexibility exercises has been shown to reverse insulin resistance, increase vitality and reduce the risk of disease.
- Appropriate nutritional supplementation – Incorporating a foundational nutrition program with targeted nutrients that help to prevent and/or treat specific conditions is an essential part of a therapeutic lifestyle program.
- Stress Management – For optimum health, regular stress management programs help keep insulin and other hormone levels balanced, improving vitality.

Low Calorie
Dr. A. T. W. Simeons, a distinguished physician, first published a report on the use of a hormone in the treatment of obesity in 1954, while practicing in Rome, Italy. He devoted years to researching various patients suffering from obesity. He noticed lack of symptoms one would expect from a patient on a very low calorie diet and reported patients lost significant amounts of weight while their bodies reshaped naturally- without exercise, and without effort. He claims patients lost more fat tissue directly from adipose tissue accumulations, causing highly visible contouring of the body. While these claims are not substantiated in the literature, weight loss is faster which is motivating and most people report a lack of hunger. This diet takes discipline and commitment and is safe and effective for most people.
