The Framework of our Living Younger Program

After researching and experiencing many of the premier Executive Health and Age Management programs across the country, we have developed a comprehensive program of evaluations and services that have the greatest impact on the fundamentals of healthy aging. The components of our Living Younger Program fit together to address physical, mental, metabolic and lifestyle issues impacting your health and wellness. Since each component is critical to managing or reversing disease and slowing the aging process, maximum results will be achieved by your commitment to the entire Living Younger Program. Of course, we can address your preventative aging objectives one module at a time, if you desire. However, to get a complete picture of your biological age, you will need to complete each module that addresses different biomarkers of aging.

If you have specific risk factors or decide that you would like more detailed information about your health status and biological functioning, you may choose to have Advanced Testing and a focused consultation for your specific issue. For more information, please visit our Advanced Testing page.

Physical Performance Measures
You are really only as young as your "oldest" body part. Do you know what is aging you and where to begin looking? The first step is to analyze your lifestyle and health habits. But we don’t stop there. We take things a step further and rather than relying on the static snapshot of a scan or lab test, we analyze how your body is functioning in real time. This module in the Living Younger Program looks at physical measures such as pulmonary function, oxygen utilization and efficiency, strength, flexibility, balance, reaction time, body composition and other factors to assess your health and predict your risk for disease. These biomarkers will tell us how you are doing physically and whether or not you are functioning at an optimal level. Everything must work in synchrony and unison to achieve your best health. The exciting part is to be able to monitor the progress of your complete Living Younger Program.
Nutritional Analysis
Analyzing your dietary intake, food preferences, current medications, supplements and medical history is the core or our nutritional analysis. Your diet, consisting of macronutrients such as carbohydrates, protein and fat and micronutrients such as vitamins and minerals, significantly influences your health and longevity. The intake and metabolism of these nutrients differs for each individual, which can result in macro and micronutrient excesses or deficiencies. These excesses or deficiencies activate gene expression and may accelerate or decelerate the aging process. Not only do we look at your overall health and nutritional status, we also examine how your diet can influence hormone balance and gene expression. This module in our Living Younger Program is crucial to modulate disease processes such as metabolic syndrome, diabetes, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease as well as other diseases aggravated by oxidation, inflammation and glycation. Through this you will gain a knowledge and understanding of how to use supplements, which forms are most effective for you, as well as how to avoid supplement interactions with medications and current conditions.
Hormone Optimization
Since hormones play an important role in overall health, they should be measured and modulated. All hormones act in concert with each other and must be in balance in order for you to achieve optimal health. Hormones can be modulated through modifying diet, exercise and sleep, however some people are very symptomatic and cannot achieve optimum strength, energy, endurance, vitality, mental clarity or disease modification without them. There are more and more studies on the safe use of hormones as they relate to aging and disease. In our Living Younger Program, we measure levels, educate you on the risks and benefits and give you the opportunity to make informed choices. When taken and monitored correctly, hormones can have a profound impact on your health and wellbeing.
Neurocognitive Assessment
Cognition, the mental activity of learning and understanding by thought, experience, and sense, can decline with age. But research has shown that our brains are able to overcome some cognitive impairment if the underlying conditions causing them are addressed. Unfortunately, most people wait until the impairments are severe before seeking and beginning any kind of treatment. Assessing your neurocognitive function before symptoms appear enables you to take action and, in many cases, avoid cognitive decline related to poor lifestyle choices.

At the core of neurocognitive assessment, is a series of neurocognitive tests that detect statistically significant and clinically meaningful changes in your central nervous system. This assessment measures four factors:
  1. Attention/Working Memory
  2. Spatial Memory/Learning
  3. Response Speed
  4. Processing Speed
In this module of our Living Younger Program, we can detect early signs of cognitive decline and assist you in addressing the underlying cause, whether it is nutritional, metabolic, and hormonal, usage, deterioration or the result of an illness. The neurocognitive assessment is computer based, easy to perform, non-invasive and does not require computer skill.
Stress Management
Stress causes chemical changes in the body that, left unchecked, can have negative effects on both mental and physical health. High levels of stress contribute to health issues as diverse as depression, insomnia, heart disease, skin disorders, headaches and more.
  1. Evaluate your nutrition; exercise, hormones as well as thought processes and attitudes that contribute to the stress response.
  2. Use validated screening tools to detect stress levels and risk for disease.
  3. Develop strategies to managing the physical and emotional factors that enhance this response.
  4. Learn how to utilize all available tools and incorporate them seamlessly into your everyday life.
  5. Enjoy amazing health benefits as well as clarity, confidence and joy.
Preventative Health
Preventive health is best described as "warding off disease". It is a process of making small regular decisions and taking positive action on health, diet, exercise and lifestyle as well as taking advantage of screening tests and preventive health measures. This can be anything from vaccines, ergonomics, getting a good night’s sleep to getting regular examinations for early detection of prevalent conditions or those you are at risk for. These actions give your body the best chance of remaining free from disease. Find out what is right for you as well as some advanced tests that can help determine your risk as well as genetic predispositions of disease.
